Your Day has arrived!!!
The big day has arrived -
you've planned the perfect wedding and are about to share the
day with your loved ones. If there was ever a time to sit
back, relax and enjoy the moment, this is it.
Steps to a great day
1. Start the day with a nice, long bubble bath.
2. Eat a good breakfast, even if it's a small one. Be sure it
includes both carbohydrates and protein.
3. Draw up a schedule a few days prior to the big day, showing
exactly what's going to happen when. Make copies and hand them
around to all of the vendors and the wedding party. The more
organized you are, the less you'll have to stress about.
4. Prepare an emergency kit for those unforeseen disasters.
Include a sewing kit, safety pins, extra hosiery, bottled
water, saltines, breath mints, sanitary napkins and so on.
5. Count on your wedding consultant (whether it's a hired one
or your own dear mother) - he or she can get the gowns to the
chapel on time, as well as transport any necessary personal
belongings from the ceremony to the reception site.
6. Leave for the ceremony with plenty of time to spare.
7. Allow yourself more than enough time to get dressed -
relish it. How about a last pre wedding indulgence? Invite a
makeup artist or professional hairstylist to the wedding site.
8. Expect the unexpected. Yes, things may go wrong, but if you
face the day with a cool head, a sense of humor and a positive
attitude, you can pull it off without a catastrophe.
9. Enjoy the day - it does, after all, belong to you!
Take lots of deep breaths.
If you start to get nervous, just let the feeling pass through
you and realize that you're supposed to feel a little anxious
- it's natural. Once you've accepted this truth, move on and
think about how nice it will be to sit on a beach or
mountaintop with your new spouse and tell him or her that you
weren't nervous at all.
When all eyes are on you, you'll want to look beautiful from
head to toe. Get inspiration, expert guidance, and helpful
tools to help you find and create the perfect wedding
hairstyle for you.
Have you decided how you are going to wear your hair for your
wedding? Up? Down? With flowers? Jewels? Veil? No veil? Tiara?
There are lots of formal wedding hairstyle choices and
deciding can be stressful. Here are some tips for deciding how
to wear your hair for your big day! First, it's a good idea to
browse some bridal magazines to see some styles. You need to
know what is out there and what will feel right for you. Cut
out some of your favorite bridal hairstyles. Next, once you
think you have it narrowed down. Make an appointment to give
it a practice run. Finally, don't forget to account for the
style of your veil. You may be the type of bride who chooses
the veil first and that decides the hair style, or you may
choose your hair style and then pick a veil accordingly.
Either way, if you plan on wearing a veil, don't forget that
your hairdo may be limited by it.
1. Don't wash your hair on
the day of your wedding. Your hair will be easier to style
when it is not clean!
2. Wear a button down shirt when getting your hair done on
your wedding day. Then, you won't ruin your hair when taking
your shirt off.
3. If getting your hair colored, get it done between 1-2 weeks
before your wedding day - getting it done the same day could
be problematic, but your hair will look the best within the
first two weeks of coloring. .
